How do you think all three will fair this season?

Would you say it seems that all have gone for automatic promotion or are they building for the future?

i think so, mansfiled could make their squad much weaker if they sell rose and the other player. i think lincoln look good but will probably hoof the ball.

I'm not sure those across the river will be doing much but in League Two, Mansfield and us seem to have done well.

I also agree with Liam, selling their key players at this stage would be a mistake on their part - they'd be best waiting for January and then cashing in.

With this being a family site, lets not go into too much detail, but Danny Rose has been caught with the chief exec of the club. Who just happens to be the chairmans wife from what I've been told from stags fans today. Hence him putting in the transfer request to get out before the window shuts.

This sounds like a rumour, has this actually been confirmed? He wanted out last season but remained with the club because he hoped they would make the playoffs.

That is allegedly what Steve Evans promised him.

I think F*r*st will be up near the top they’ve spent a lot of money and made some big signings. Hopefully I’m wrong.

I'm hoping, praying that we will be near the top too, the squad is good enough, just need to see if they click.

Not so sure about Mansfailed it looks as if they are going to lose Rose for whatever reason (I pay no heed to rumours) this may well unsettle the team, they’ll probably end up mid table.

I think you might find its more like the managers wife, he's got rid of him from two previous clubs he's been at

As usual, it comes from a friend who knows a friend. He works at Field Mill so might have some truth in it?

Either way, seriously bad timing to have your front two on the way out two days before the season starts...

In other news, Retford United have been bought by John and Carolyn Radford, also owners of Mansfield Town. The poor Stags were forced to play them twice in pre-season. Rumour has it that a tanning booth has already been installed at the ground.

Forest won't finish higher than 8th, they have gambled and they don't have a strong enough squad.

Mansfield will be weaker if they allow Rose to leave and if the two other players also depart.

Notts should do well if they work as a team.

I hope they all do well.

It would be good for Nottinghamshire to have a successful season for each club. I do have the feeling that things may go to Forests heads, that they either start off well and burn out or they nose dive and sack their manager. It just has that feeling about it, especially with the owner being a crook.

Mansfield should do well enough even with Danny Rose.

Notts will hopefully lead the way though.

I think all three will enjoy some form of success.

I can't see Mansfield or Forest gaining promotion but they should be able to make a good push for the higher places. I do feel Notts has the quality we lacked from last season so we should do well.

I don't see Forest or Mansfield doing well myself either, I hope Notts do manage to work well as a team. The signs are promising!

Mansfield and Notts should do well, I just can't see Forest doing anything special.

I agree with this. Mansfield look good but it all depends on keeping their main players.

Notts should be in and around the upper half, as should Forest.

It's all about what Notts can do, the other two don't matter.

Forest will finish from 14th to 7th.

Mansfield should secure a playoff place.

Notts might get into the playoffs, but there is a chance things could click and we go up automatically.
