What line-up should Harry Kewell opt for? What will be the key areas for the Magpies to get a victory? What do you think the final score will be?

We really do need to start plucking some courage together and get some team spirit going. 9pts is a must in the remaining games in September if we are to seriously carry on this promotion hope. We can't afford to be giving sloppy goals away and gifting chances to Stevenage. The likes of Danny Newton and Alex Revell will really hurt us if they are given the opportunity. It will be good to see our academy product in Luther Wildin to see how far he has come on. Stevenage have a tendency to score late on and really push teams in the final 15 minutes of a game. So we must adapt to this and maybe match their style of football for the remaining 30 minutes or so.

I expect to see Harry Kewell go for maybe a 4-4-2 formation: Fitz / OXC - Brisley - Ward (c) - Kellett / Alessandra - Milsom - Vaughan - Boldewjin / Hemmings - Stead

Must use Steads hold up play to our advantage and cause them problems at the back. Vaughan needs to play more forward to find Hemmings on the last man. COYP!!!!

2-1 Notts with Stead and Hemmings scoring.

Well it’s Harrys first home league game and I think the Home field advantage I think that will help not only him but the lads they are desperate to bounce back .. and to show the fans they are worthy of playing for County. It won’t be easy but the lads are gunner have to knuckle down and rally round and earn that point hell even 3 points you never know.

difficult game, stevenage have some good players and are a fairly tall squad. i think we will struggle. :(

I think Stevenage would be a good chance to get the first win.

I would have been more confident under Nolan than I am with Kewell because I feel he needs more time to fully understand the squad but there key areas Notts could exploit if they focused on those areas. Across the field I feel we have more depth, its more about confidence.

The topics are automated and somebody forgot to correct this, despite it being pulled up in the last discussion.

It's been corrected and for future references too.

If Notts played to their potential I would be confident that three points was on the card.

However, this isn't the case and Stevenage do look strong on paper. Harry Kewell needs to have done his homework right here, there's ways Notts can break them down even with the current form of both teams. Stevenage has some very fast players, along with the height advantage so our defence needs to be more aware to the danger here. The midfield will be key, they need to be strong and physical.

If we can get the basics right who knows what will happen?

For me it's being focused and balanced, I think the game will surprise people and quite possibly end up a goalless draw.

We have to give Harry Kewell a warm reception and get behind the players from the off.

The game won't be easier but its winnable if the players work well enough.

I think a draw at best but I hope for a win as always.

I am just hoping Notts can put a stop to this rot, I would take a draw now.

A draw is how I see it but let's face it, it could go anyway.

It's important a clean sheet is retained because this would be something to build on, as would the confidence. I am hopeful about the game, we may see a positive sign from the training but something needs to give right now. COYP!

Notts needs to win but I cans see a draw happening too.

1-1, Stead to score.

The players have to put the recent performances behind them and focus on playing football, they need to be enjoying it.

I am hoping for the best outcome.

Notts have to start going out thinking they can win games, it's all about confidence and they have to see the way is playing forward. A positive mindset is important, okay the club will concede but the focus has to be on winning. The losing streak needs to be broken now before it sets in, I worry that Kewell may need longer.

He needs to take a chance and hope some of the other players, especially the younger ones pay him back.

If Notts concede another three goals, I hope the club fine the players and put them to training the day after.

Posted

I don't know what to expect, I hope for a win as always but I think a draw is about as good as it will get.

Whenever Notts claims the first win I feel it will be from a game we least expect or think it would be possible.

Stevenage may not be this team but we have to try.

There's a good chance we could but I just feel there is more time needed to fix the issues.

1-1 draw is my prediction.

Saturday should be the perfect chance for Notts to get to grips with what's going wrong.

Stevenage are just a very hardworking team, there is little special about them and the difference will be whoever holds onto the ball the best. I would hope Harry Kewell's first managerial home game would spark something from the players.

I want to see them play as if they want him to continue picking them.

I say 2-2 the score, Stead and Hemmings.

I have been to all the home games so far this season and I am scratching my head thinking how have we been so poor? Notts have started well but its as soon as the first goal ends up the back of the net.

There's not enough fight or desire shown.

I want to see a convincing performance by Notts because I know the squad is more than good enough for this division.

I think Notts snatch a 2-1 win.

I am hoping this will be the case come Saturday, I want the losing streak to end and will try to be a positive influence throughout the game in the stands.

I'm not trying to be negative I just can't see where a win will come from.

Only Jon Stead, Enzio Boldewijn and Kane Hemmings look confident on goal and the rest look shaky at the back. A draw is possible but I can't call the game so no prediction from me.

If Stevenage doesn't score 3 or more goals then I will wonder why.

I'm not confident and I think the final score will be 2-0 to them, I hope I'm wrong and that Kewell can get the best out of the game. I just feel it's very unlikely but we shall see.

It will be a difficult game.

Stevenage have signed some very good players for this league, they are still a very physical team but they are much more focused on passing. I worry Notts will end up trying to hoof the ball and that the game will become scrappy. The ball played in the air would suit them better than it would us, we have to use the flanks and exploit any space.

I think the score could be 2-2 but it wouldn't surprise me if it ended 2-1 to them.

It’s going to be tough for sure with confidence low , important the fans stay with them and try to urge them on , I would settle for a gritty hard earned 1-0 win , Stead with the winner COYP
