For me, it's between Jon Stead, Enzio Boldewijn andΒ Jamie Turley.

I'm hoping to compare the results to that of the end of season poll but I voted for Enzio because he's been the brute force for much of the games. He makes a real difference when playing, his form and contributions at times can be questionable but he's playing at this level for a reason. I feel he played a big part in the games we've won so far, much more than some of the others and although Kane Hemmings has done well.

I just feel it's nowhere near to my selection.

Jamie Turley, since he's come in his provided some stability at the back. Duffy and Brisley are shocking together. Cant string a pass between them. Turley and Ward have provided SOME stability but I think Turley shows he cares more and I enjoy watching his no nonsense defending as @Magic magpieΒ would say. So therefore I have chosen him.

Jon Stead by no stretch of the imagine he has been the best player on the pitch, a revelation once given the armband.

I agree Harry Kewell burned him out though.Β

Difficult, Turley has been a revelation since arrival but he hasn’t been here long. Stead has stepped up a notch this season. Enzio has done ok, but not constantly over 90 minutes for me. Alesandra has played some of his best football since joining.Β

I’ll plump for Turley because without the rejuvenated defence and the 5 games unbeaten we would be sunk by now.

Enzio for me, he has been mostly class this season.

All the players have had bad spells but he's been the best going forward.
