cheers guys - yeah i'll talk with anyone about football.

I'm registered on this and the other Notts forum as well as Wrexham , Bromley, Confguiide and the 1FF forum.

season's going very well (so far).

Nice to see Notts fans haven't come down with the usual arrogant ex-EFL attitude (Yeovil were really a non-league side who were on an extended loan to the EFL - so didn't have it either)  .

All the best for the rest of the season - apart from the return match of course....

Welcome to PON @chipmunx.

Most Notts fans will know where are now Non League simply due to not being good enough, mind I do feel we have adapted well. Barrow did well at Meadow Lane, once that first goal went in your side became unstoppable.

Welcome to PON @chipmunx. Nice to see someone sharing a bit about themselves, you will find most Notts fans are just football minded. Not idiots like those banter pages on social media.

Hello, welcome to the Pride of Nottingham @chipmunx. I hope you enjoy being a part of our Notts County community.

It's always good to see opposition fans, who are friendly and open to discussing things.

Thanks for posting @chipmunx! Is there a story behind the user name?

If I'm being brutally honest, our club has been a joke ever since we sacked Neil Warnock (and that was a long time ago). After years of humiliations, each more ridiculous than the last (from fake sheiks to "little Alan"), you get the "big club attitude" knocked out of you a bit. There's no point in saying we shouldn't be playing at this level because we are, and it's our own fault. The best thing is to enjoy the experience and hope it doesn't last too long ;)

Were you at Meadow Lane in November? That was the only game I've seen live this season, so thanks for that :D I was impressed with your team though, they had clearly done their homework, completely shut us down and played at an unbelievably high intensity. The sportsmanship left something to be desired though...

No big story behind the username - I used to play an online multiplayer space game called Galaxy Online II  and used it on there and it's stuck.

Neil Warnock - there's a good old non league Manager - I remember he was manager at Scarborough (I think it was there) when Barrow used to play them decades ago.

I work Friday and Saturday nights - so away travel tends to be scarce on a Saturday these days so wasn't at the November match. I am a season ticket holder though.

thanks ARLukomski - nice vlog by the way, I saw the Notts v Barrow one and have seen most of the ones since. Simone seams a very astute guy.

I hope to see you posting on here occasionally.

@chipmunx He was indeed at Scarborough, and that's where he joined us from. Off the top of my head I think he started his managerial career at Grantham, who currently have about five ex-Notts players in their ranks.

Welcome @chipmunx, best wishes to your club. If Barrow keep their progress up, it would show that the league can be won by an underdog.
