I like both the kits to be honest.

Home looks inverted and not so pleasing to the eyes. I don't personally like the black on white stripes.

The away shirt looks very nice, I'll be getting that.

I wasn't a huge fan of last season's home shirt, but it's massively grown on me. This year, I can safely say it won't. All that matters is that the players can perform in it, get the results we needed, and hopefully we can go back to tradition after.

Hate to say it... Both kits look like tee shirts... Not impressed!!!

Really like the away kit. It looks fantastic. Blues my favourite colour so it's gonna be very tempting to buy.

I agree with this it should be the other way round I feel. But it's a nice kit nonetheless.

Exactly my thoughts when I first saw it. Said that to my mate when we was talking about it.

I must say, the away kit is really catchy. Quite a fan!

I like both shirts, although it has made me appreciate last season’s a lot more. I think the home shirt could be better; it looks a bit unusual with the white stripes being over a more dominant black. I will be buying both, but the away shirt is lovely. I think its simplicity is great.

I was so confident we’d get the cricket team treatment where they'd tie the sponsorship in to fit with the shirt. Nope, just plaster it across the front. I’ve seen some fans say it makes the shirt look cheap and sadly I have to agree, it’s a shame as I like the stripes this year. I know sponsors want to stand out but cos the shirt has almost no colour it's too overriding. No idea if JPA said that’s how they wanted it but would it have been difficult to get them to agree to something like this?

As for the away shirt if it’s a bit of a homage to Italy go a bit further and give it a green, white and red trim maybe, personally I want a bit more from it. Love the colour but it’s another very plain away shirt again.

The trouble is everyone has different views on shirts so they’ll never please everyone, I’m happy with the shirts and once the season starts and we see the team playing in them it’ll just be the norm and everyone will forget about their personal gripes.

yes, but fans are less likely to complain if it stays within tradition for big seasons.

our first season back in the football leagues shirt is important and i get why fans dont like the home shirt. i do, but thats my taste.

Kindled mixed feelings honestly. The home kit design seems a bit off, rather unconventional with the stripes. However, the away kit makes up for it, there's something modern yet so charming about the plain design and the colour. It looks fresh and very likeable.

The home shirt is different but nice. It's good that the club has tried something different, and it's not as bad as fans think. It did take me some time to fully appreciate it at first, but it is nice. The away shirt is excellent. However, I am not sure the club should be promoting the Italian connection because of our own issues with Italy in recent years, such as their cheating and kicking Sterling and the Arsenal player all over the pitch.

Both shirts are fine, I like them both but I do prefer the away shirt. It's a nice shade of blue. The home top looks a bit zebra like, than our traditional striped shirts but I do like it.

Both shirts are perfectly fine. I’ve already pre-purchased the pair of them and the new training top. I think the away shirt is the nicest we’ve had for at least 5 years. The simplicity is very elegant.

I like them both. I like the modern take on the stripes on the home shirt, but the sponsor is a bit overpowering and I really dislike the back of the shirt. I understand they need to leave space for the number, but surely we could then just have stripes on the front, or something a bit more elegant than a giant white area with chopped off bits of stripes round the edges. Surely they could have come up with something better than that.

The away shirt is a bit plain, but it's in a decent colour for one and I think I'll be having one!

On a related note, I wish we could have a bolder, simplified version of the badge with just the magpies and the football for the shirt. They're just too small with our current badge.

The home shirt is different but nice. I’m not sure I would buy it, but I do like it. The away shirt is just quality; I want to get that one.

Personally i didnt like last seasons home or away shirt so theres a slight improvement, the stripes are wider but not nice.

The colour on the away shirt is nice. I know what my family will be buying and i'll stick with my band tshirts as the games are too much for my headaches anyway.

As long as the team plays well, the shirts don't matter do they. It is good when they look nice though.

I really like the away shirt, that's what we've gone for. Myself, Jake and Cal are all in agreement that blue is the shirt we needed to get. I'm still not keen on the home shirt; I don't think it's bad, but it's not quite up there in terms of what appeals to me.

It surprised me that some fans expressed that they didn't like it.

Everyone has their own taste I suppose. :)

Both shirts look great. I like that the home shirt is different. I don’t think it’s a bad design at all. The away shirt looks quality. Simple designs usually look the best. It’s a nicer colour than the pastel shades we’ve seen in recent years, such as mint and purple.

I have a preference for both and will purchase the home shirt when it goes on sale. I already have the away one. I heard that over 1,000 have already been sold. Pete in the club shop said he hasn’t seen such demand for a shirt.

Decent looking home shirt ruined by a red box plastered on the front of it. Won't be getting it unless there's a way to remove that box without damaging the shirt.

Will get the away shirt.

I like both the home and away shirts; both look classy to me. The home shirt takes some getting used to, but once you get past the different look, I think it will grow on fans. The away shirt is lovely.

I think the home shirt will grow on me; there’s time between now and its release for me to decide if I will buy it or not. I have got the away shirt; normally, I don’t buy away shirts, but I think this one will be a classic in years to come. I like everything about it; the material is very nice.

The home shirt isn’t bad, but I don’t think it’s great either. Interesting concept but it’s just okay. I do like the away blue shirt but I am undecided if I will wait for the home shirt to grow on me or just buy that.
