Notts county’s home game against against Newport County on the 19th January 2019 has been postponed due to Newport County reaching the 4th round of the fa cup.

No details of the re scheduled date has been released yet.

Notts County and the gaffer have today received some good news as winger Enzio Boldewijn is ahead of schedule as he looks to return to the first team earlier than the original three month assessment suggested.

Enzio who was injured back in November and underwent surgery to repair his knee in the 1-1 draw his return was first scheduled middle of February but it seems he is ahead of schedule.

The gaffer said “he is making excellent progress and is pencilled in to return to full training next week”

Has anyone on Pon been to a Ilkeston town match if so what did you think.?

So this Saturday Notts play Cambridge in a bottom of league two clash at meadow lane as Alan announced it will be £2 a ticket like last February again Crewe.

Who’s coming to meadow lane to cheer the lads on this Saturday in our must win game against Cambridge.

So Notts county are on their 3rd manager in as many months. First it started with the sacking of Kevin Nolan, when County fell into the relegation zone and didn’t perform well enough.

Then Harry Kewell whom came with a price tag from Crawley and the desire to change this and keep Notts county in league two.

Now the hiring of Neal Ardley the manager who not only saved afc Wimbledon from relegation but got them promoted to league one.

So my question is this- is Neal Ardley the right man to save Notts County, is he the right man for the job.?

Alan Hardy has just announced via twitter that Notts have completed the second signing of the January transfer window.

Alan Hardy has said that the identity of the player can’t be revealed till this afternoon (not Alan or Notts county’s choice)

Congratulations to John stead who scored his fiftieth goal in a Notts County shirt in our 3-3 draw.

Congratulations to captain steady a true magpie.????????

how does notts improve the away form?

its obvious that the away form this season has been shocking, it seems the players cant perform away from home and i wonder why. the squad can play well at home but it seems more of a task to perform on the road. one or two goals seems to be a enough to sink the confidence of the camp and then there is little fight.

what can neal ardley do to improve this? do we need an away team/formation?

Notts county have confirmed the second signing of January in the way of Scottish midfielder Jim O’Brien.

Notts have secured Jim’s services on a permanent deal and for free.

The experienced midfielder comes to Notts after his departure from Bradford.

Stat attack .. I’ve just seen that Mansfield and Man City are the only teams in the top four leagues to not loose a away game...

what this can’t be true .... Mansfield of all team 5F00EB40-2F84-4ABD-88A7-C6DEA271BA24.png

Welcome to pon @Colin Lindley

Pon has a lot to offer and some great members, young and old, in the community.

Guy can we welcome our new member to Pon @Laurie Baczynski .. great to have you with us.

Current Points = 21

Remaining Fixtures:

Cambridge (H) = 3

Yeovil (A) = 1

Newport (H) = 3

Lincoln (H) = 0

FGR (A) = 0

Mansfield (H) = 1

Tranmere (A) = 0

Port Vale (H) = 3

Cheltenham (A) = 1

Carlisle (A) = 0

Morecambe (H) = 3

Exeter (H) = 0

Stevenage (A) = 3

Northampton (H) = 1

Crewe (A) = 0

MKD (H) = 0

Crawley (A) = 3

Grimsby (H) = 3

Swindon (A) = 0

Total Points = 46 points

All predictions based on current form and other teams home/away form. This is scary people that we might even fall short of the 50 pts mark which would mean relying on other teams around us dropping points. I have had the next two games as 4 points but if we lose both games or can't get at least 4 points then we can consider our relegation imminent.

So this weekend is the fa cup 3rd round with league 2 and none league sides still left in the fight along with the premier league giants Man City, Man Utd, Chelsea  and other such teams.

So who’s going to lift the fa cup season.?
