It's another big game for England, a win over Sweden could put our nation into the semi-finals. I actually forget the last time the Three Lions progressed this far, however the squad assembled by Gareth Southgate came under fire for the lack of experienced players and just his overall decisions. None of which seems to have caused any issues on the field and despite my concerns over the defence - they can do the job.

My question is which England international has impressed you the most during this World Cup?

For me it's Jordan Pickford, he's been impressive and will only grow within the role.

So it seems that the gaffer Kevin Nolan May be returning to playing ways as he has got shirt 44. 

Could he be playing next season is the return on.?

As some of you may have noticed, the PON website has changed in certain areas.

This morning I have upgraded the site which includes some very exciting features and, others which are improvements to the look. We are also pleased to announce that the Pride of Nottingham will from now on use its own branding - our name remains the same but instead 'Unofficial Notts County Fan Site', we will be now known as 'Pride of Nottingham (Notts County Community).

I feel it's important we focus on the core values which I have tried to deliver to Notts fans and, community suits the feel of our website much better.

In addition to the changes, I'm delighted to say that @Magic magpie and @ARLukomski will be joining the Admin team with immediate effect.

Also, @CliftonMagpie will be joining our moderation team - along with LiamPie who has offered to join the site support role.

These changes come into place with the departure of Joe Jones who is stepping down from the site, hopefully he will hang around but I would like to personally thank him for the years of dedication (even if sometimes I felt like... I won't go there). ????

Notts don’t show off there trophy cabinet much but it’s worth remembering that back in the Day County were mean trophy winning team. Walking past this in Thursday made me feel proud .. and hopeful that the trophy winning days will return.

I’ve kept a fish tank before and recently tarted thinking about buying all the gear again. ( There’s the first tip Bigtone, when it all goes @#£& up, don’t sell all the gear. Keep it in the loft and pull it out again when you’re ready for another go.)

I would suggest you start with cold water fish as your starting point. I remember I had a lot less issues with cold water than tropical, and don’t even get me started on marine!

Great hobby and lovely to sit and watch.

So it’s Wednesday and it’s game changer day Alan Hardy has promised the next Notts signing is due to day .. fueled even more so by his latest tweet saying that it will be around 6pm. Thoughts guys 

Notts have completed the season-long loan from Sheffield United for 23-years-old winger Nathan Thomas.

Does this mean Andy Kellett will be a left back? Or does this put a hold to the Enzio Boldewijn rumour? Let us know what you think of this and the arrival of Thomas to the club.
