Sad to hear sheโs died from cancer, I wasnโt a particular fan of her kind of music but recognise what a great voice she had.
Anyone a fan?

come on kevin nolan sort it out, prove the doubters wrong.
I see nothing with how he speaks, what he says or how he appears.
Fans are jumping the gun and once one says differently, it just takes a few to agree before it's all over the place.
He sounds and looks more annoyed then he is letting on there.
Good morning PoN, itโs a grey start here and quite breezy but dry.
We are back in our bed after I have persuaded Mrs. BigTone that the enormous spider she saw Friday has packed his bags and gone, hopefully to never return.
Today we are getting excited because we are getting packed ready for a holiday with our eldest grandchildren, we donโt see them regularly since our son died in 2012 so this is a real bonus for us, tomorrow we are going to the coast, weโve hired a static van for 5 days Mon-Fri, looking forward to lots of fun.
So what is everyone else up to, family time? Big fat Sunday roast? Day in the country? Or just chillaxing?ย Let us know whatโs happening in your life today.
So a little later than normal apologies but we have a new caption picture taken by the gaffer himself @Chris. The winning caption will be revealed on Sunday after @super_pieย and Notts-pool pic a winner.ย
Good luck every oneย

Even if the penalty had gone it wouldn't have made much difference, Hemmings had the right idea but put too much power on it.
horrible to re watch them goals, very annoying because we played well attacking.
Oh lord, that is awful defending and keeping. It would have been a million times worse watching that slaughtering live!

notts lack the fight needed to win games at the moment.
i think there is enough creativity and power up front but the defence looks absolutely ****. there is no other word for it.

Yeah the defence.
The game was winnable that's the annoying thing for me but the awful defending cost the club from doing that.
I am frustrated by the way Notts gave the game away, 4 goals is a sorry state of affairs. I hope for better against Newport County.
Just watching Notts TV Team Talk programme and Neal Bishop is a guest talking about how he came to join Mansfield, Charlie McParland asked him if he wouldโve come back to Notts, he hesitated before answering โwithout wishing to upset anybody, no I wouldnโt want to go backโ he went on to explain he had a great time at Notts and it was good to leave with happy memories if heโd come back things may not have been the same.
I can sort of understand that, what do others think.

What are your experiences of tipping. Do you tip for services received, if so who do you tip? Have you ever had a job where you received a tip?
I generally leave a tip if Iโve been to a restaurant with waiter service but not if itโs a place where you order at the bar and give a table number.
On the cruises we have been on tips are charged to your bill to save you the bother but at ยฃ7 per passenger per day it works out a fair bit of money depending how long the cruise is. If you prefer you can have the tips taken off your bill and tip personally.
Any thoughts on tipping?

Earlier this week , (after the televised Rams v Leeds game)I was conversing on Messenger with one of my old Rams fan mates. We were discussing were we went wrong and part of his replyย made me laugh. He said"Our players have it away too often"I know many a true word is spoken in jest but hey players do have a life away from football.ย What he meant to type was-"We Gave (the ball) it away too often"
Do any members have any similarย amusing typos ?

Fitzsimons 4 Lack of a defence exposes Fitz, but made some good saves
Bird 4 A nervous opening 15 minutes but grew into the game
Duffy 5 a typical Duffy performance
Hewitt 3.5 Losing count at the number of failed passes.
Kellett 6 Neat but will he be up for the physical battles of L2
Crawford 5 took goal well but needed to gt into the game more
Jones 4 Inaccurate pass allowed Boro to break to score their 3rdย
Hawkridge 3.5 Anonymous and that's being kind
Husin 6.5 MotM always uses the ball well, never a misplaced pass...a focal point of what a side should be built around
Alessandra 4 Boro easily pick pocketed the ball off him too many times. Coolly taken penalty
Stead 6 Back on the scoring trail after the horrific miss at Cambridge. Thought penalty was well signalled and keeper saved comfortably

Would be interesting if he would take Hewitt's place. After the performance at the Riverside it looks as if Hewitt maybe dropped for either Crawford or Husin.
If the formation changes it will be between him and Husin to fill the gap in midfield. He sounds like a sensible player, his heads clearly switched on.
He sounds like a great asset and lad for the club, well done to him for scoring on his debut.
That's a sign of class as far as I am concerned.

My next door neighbour is a lovely bloke and him and his wife were very good to us when weโd just moved into our house and our lives took a devastating turn for the worst.
We get on really well however he is a Fword fan, we have some great banter and just recently heโs put a sign on his garden gate (see picture) which he leaves open and itโs the first thing I see when I open my back door.
My question is can I buy anything similar to put up that is Notts County related just to get my own back.
Any suggestions gratefully received.
Apologies for posting this picture.

I woke up this morning having a pretty horrible dream about my brother, well it was a nightmare really, it has prompted me to go and see him, we are the only two members of our family who are left.
I donโt usually remember my dreams but this was pretty vivid and I woke up sweating ????, anyone else have nasty dreams?

do you think some of the issues with the way notts have played is partly down to the club having too much pressure on themselves to do well this season?
i wonder if the defence dont feel comfortable with fitzsimons and visa versa.
could collin have made that much of a difference in goal? nobody will credit him but when he played well, so did notts. if the defence stumbled so did collin. i am not impressed by fitzsimons, i dont think hes taken his chance or faith shown in him by kn. what do you think?
