Leicester City won't find another manager who can win the Premier League with a bunch of nobodies, you just know football's gone mad.
-
Well it looks like it is going to be an exciting relegation battle in L2. Obviously you'r rather not being involved but such is life. I've only included the teams with less than 40 points. Notts have 2 disadvantages, more games played (no club has played more games than Notts) and a shocking goal difference. That goal difference right now is effectively -1 in terms of points.

would take the draw any day of the week, now lets get similar or better from Plymouth.
-
Super set up from Stead for O'Connor to blaze over. What a wazzock
-
Mixed feelings. A point is better than nothing but Notts should have picked up all 3. At least it keeps the run going which is important heading down to Plymouth tomorrow night.
-
Graham Burke, he who used to play for Notts County then left for Shamrock Rovers before aiming a parting shot at the Magpies (what a rotter), has had a bit of a memorable debut for the Irish side.
From Pundit Arena (http://www.punditarena.com/football/sokeefe/graham-burke-rovers-red/):
The second half, however, (or the last fifteen minutes of it at least) was dominated by new Rovers signing Graham Burke. The former Aston Villa and Notts County forward was only introduced with twenty minutes remaining – replacing Roberto Lopes as visiting manager Stephen Bradey sought to claw something back – and his impact was felt almost instantly as he halved the deficit with a deflected effort that wrongfooted Dundalk keeper Gabriel Sava.
However, the 23-year-old threw away a lot of that goodwill just three minutes later for a disgraceful challenge on Jamie McGrath…
Ouch.

Based on a mean of 5
Collin - 5.5 - So well protected by the back 4, had little to do. Good save at the end
Clackstone - 6 Continued on from Orient's second half performance. Had more time and space than Bola was afforded
Bola - 6 - Yeovil done their homework and nullified his forward runs
Hewitt - 6 - A different player. Good partnership with Hollis
Hollis - 6 Only one 50 pence piece header. Slotted in well, kept pressure off Collin
Yeates - 6 - Always looks a creative spark but did tire in second half.
O'Connor - 5 - Given the space on his side, didn't utilise it well
Milson - 6.5 - MoTM Covered a lot of ground. outshined O'Connor again
Grant - 5 - Flitted in and out
Stead - 6 - Effort but well marshalled
Ameobi - 6 - Again all effort but chance to create chances limitef
Campbell - 5 - not on long to make an impact -
Saturday's Fixtures:
Aston Villa v Derby County
Barnsley v Huddersfield Town
Peterborough United v Rochdale
Sheffield United v Bolton Wanderers
Carisle United v Portsmouth
Luton Town v Plymouth Argyle -

Do you have any soft spots for any other national teams?
I went to the US game against Jamaica back on the 4th of this month, the game finished 1-1 but I attended as a natural. Since moving to the states I have developed a soft spot for the national team but I do also like Jamaica who are a shadow of their former selves (I guess even the US are).

Gladbach last night...
Lost the first leg 1-0 at home to Fiorentina
2-0 down after 40 minutes of the second leg, so 3-0 down on aggregate.
4 goals in 16 minutes to win the second leg 4-2 in Italy and go through...

I do a lot of media based work, so I am usually on a laptop. My default device is a powerhouse in terms of performance (it has to be when using photoshop and video editing). My old laptop had 8gb of ram, however I now have 16gb which is far better for multitasking and the type of work I need to perform.
My desktop hasn't been in use for a few years, not since it blew up in a storm we had.
There's times when I have to use a tablet or my phone, though my mobile is usually the go to device for doing tasks such as social media.

The EFL has published some of the key dates for things happening next season.
The 2017-18 fixtures will be released on Wednesday 21 June, the opening weekend of the season is that of Saturday 5 / Sunday 6 August, the regular season ends exactly nine months later (5/6 May) and the League Two playoff final is on Monday May 28.
For these and all the other dates, they're handily posted on this here link: http://www.efl.com/global/keydates.aspx
If you don't want to tempt fate and would rather write them down at the end of the season, tis up to you.

A vibrant atmosphere on a matchday is great for the team , it shows real support and can give a great lift when up against it in games , personally I think it's good for the fans as well , gets them more involved and is an enjoyable part of a matchday experience , COYP

Last season after Ricardo was sacked, Meadow Lane just became very depressing.
This season to a degree it's been quite awful, just the vibe and lack of atmosphere. Everything has been lifted with the sale of the club - its like a different place. Despite struggling, fans are showing that is support if you value it and Kevin Nolan seems very promising in terms of what he brings. Him and Alan Hardy seem to be the right pairing. Nolan is also quite amusing and another PON member mentioned how he reminds him of Martin Allen.
Well the comment about fans telling their wives about them going to the game, that's MA all over. LOL
-
hes brilliant, i think he just approaches things well.
as a manager he speaks his mind and the honesty is refreshing, as is the sense of humour. without him or alan we would still be all gloomy so credit is deserved all round.

Has a club ever thrown away good wishes and sympathy as effectively as Sutton over the last few days?
1. Ditching their usual sponsor for 'The Sun' for a few squalid pounds - 30 pieces of silver comes to mind.
2.
-
Notts County academy star Luther Wildin is making a bit of a name for himself on the international stage as well as at Meadow Lane.
He scored a corker for Antigua & Barbuda's Under-20 side in their 4-1 defeat against Honduras in the CONCACAF Under-20s Cup.
Admittedly their defence doesn't really seem to be trying, but kudos to the 20-year-old for persevering through them and for the good finish.
-
This clown is reffing us again on Saturday.
How the league can still use him is beyond me, he thinks you're there to watch him.
I wouldn't be surprised if the chanting started whilst he was doing his warm-up.
-
There's a couple interesting comments about us “We were training in parks and you would see people walking up with their dogs."
It must be frustrating/embarrassing as a professional footballer to be training in parks with with people walking dogs and all of that. That said he very rarely did anything professional on the pitch so maybe he deserved to be training on a park.
It's easy to understand(not saying it was right) why some of the players wasn't playing with everything they had this season, training on parks, not being paid on time or at all very easy to see why some got disheartened. At least Mr Hardy has changed all of that mentality!
-
Has anybody noticed how tough our run in is? We've still got to play: Plymouth, Donny, Luton, Carlisle away and Pompey, Blackpool at home! That said we do seem to do "better" when playing the bigger sides of this league..

One word, DELIGHTED!!!! #keepitup COYP

Crawley, Cheltenham and now Leyton Orient, all big wins for Notts.
Poor teams but all showed some fighting spirit, maybe not so much Cheltenham but they moved the ball around well. Big test is about to come but I feel we have more structure under Nolan. He is doing well and credit must fall equally on his and the players shoulders. I feel quite proud to be a Notts again, the lads are showing the spirit we have wanted to see all season. Well done Notts!

Pleased to see Notts pulling off another victory, 2-2 wouldn't have been the worst result but the win is a lot sweeter.
