Took my two grandsons down to the lane today and bought them a shirt each, the eldest George is very keen but youngest not so, he’s had a lot of peer pressure from friends who are F*r*st fans so I was glad when he said he wanted a shirt, trouble is I couldn’t afford one for myself after forking out 60 odd quid.

Alan Hardy has confirmed Notts County will still be producing matchday programmes next season, following the EFL ruling that made them optional instead of compulsory as it has been for donkey's years.

However, he admits that it all depends on how much demand there is and how many fans buy them, as he will be producing them at a huge loss.

Will you still be buying them for the sake of tradition / having mementos, or is it just not the done thing now?

I have supported Notts since the age of 7 but many families all big fans of the club. I go to all the home games and the majority of away matches, I hope to join in when time lets me.

It looks like the transfers are done and dusted by how quiet things are, I know Alan Hardy mentioned on Twitter he wouldn't rule any further signings out but I think he hinted that it could be loans only.

I mentioned in another thread that my brother was (sadly deceased now) a Fword fan after he jumped on the bandwagon in the 70s I’ve always been a Notts fan and we had a lot of good natured arguments about our teams.

So we all know the date and time and location of when our league 2 promotion hopes crashed and burned last seaon. We know how it happened..but you know what that’s past, that’s gone. 

This seaon we have bounced back keeping faith in Kevin Nolan, which I feel is more than justified .He may hate losing and have a mouth on him, but he cares. He is passionate and that for me ticks all the boxes. 

We finally have an owner who is prepared to spend to bring in quality players. Alan doesn’t always act the way he should but he wants to be with County, he wants to bring the good times back. So I think it’s time to entrust in Alan, he ain’t like the past owners that’s a fact. 

This seaon we have young team with heart and determination mixed with exspirence whom just want to play and love to play the game. I believe in these players .Yeah they make errors and mistakes but so what, they are human not super hero’s. Like most of you I’m a season ticket holder.A proud season ticket holder but that’s because I love Notts. I love the ground, the people I go with. It’s become one of my favourite places.

We are one at the end of the day .We can be angry if they don’t do well. We can be annoyed .We have the right, but at the end of the day as fans. 

Everything is in place for a great season. Let’s get behind the lads now and roar them on because we win as one and fall as one ...

I was just watching the news, the main discussion surrounded how mobiles are taking over daily habits and that 65% of people surveyed for the news network no longer own a PC/Laptop.

So, my question is do you still own a computer? i.e Desktop, Laptop, All-in-one.
