Morning all, looks like it’s going to be another scorching weekend.

This morning I’m off to the Long Eaton Park Run, a 5k Run which happens every Saturday, there are normally around 400 people go all ages and abilities, I want to try and do it in under 30 minutes if I can my best time is 30 mins 18 seconds. My son does it in 25 minutes but he’s 26 years younger than me. Anyone else do Park Runs?

Later I’m off to the match looking forward to seeing the match and when I get home I’ll watch the recording of England v Begium.

So the English World Cup dream is over for another year. Looking back on all of it the players , teams we played , the competition in general what’s your thoughts guys.?

The other day my dad was having a looking through some old records and found both songs that Notts County had released two players have signed it. Dose anyone else anything from years gone past shirt records etc. 

So guys these are the last two games of the World Cup at the moment @liampie is in the lead but it’s a slight lead still time for him to caught guys.

I noticed that @Natty has unearthed on Facebook who the trailist keeper was in yesterday's game against Basford, It's Richard Walton and he looked alright.

He's only 20 and sounds more vocal than Pindroch does.

So Alan Hardy and Kevin Nolan have definitely stepped up there chase for promotion with the amount of signings so far.

Do you think that Kevin and Alan will make anymore or is that is.? 

Good decision by both Ronaldo and Real Madrid, he needs a fresh challenge and I think he would do very well in Italy. Fee is quite insane for a player of his age but he will make Juventus stronger, they really should further strengthen their squad up though.

I think Kevin Nolan should appoint David Vaughan as the new club captain, what does every else here think?

He has a good level of experience, David's lead previous clubs and he would be an influential player on the field. If not, I would say use the friendlies as a way to mentor who has the best leadership qualities and is able to make others focus/lift them.

Richard Duffy constantly swearing and his habit of making mistakes makes me hopeful somebody else will become the captain.

If not David, who else could be?

So the squad numbers are released dose anyone have the players number and name on their shirts or personalised shirt with wht number and name.?

one thing i have been doing since i was 16 is saving my wages, i dont go out much to places that costs me money and the only place i do is when i attend notts games. i hope to save enough to buy a home or apartment for myself one day, its the dream and i am working towards that.

Second pre-season friendly for Notts what does everybody think? Last season Basford make Notts work for it in the first half but clicked in the second. It should be another good run out for the players.

So the pre season has officially started after they opened up there pre Season account with a 17-0 over Rolls Royce xi yesterday. next they will face Basford United away on Tuesday night kick off at 7pm. (Pay on the door) £7 Adults £5 concessions £1/£2 kid  Family ticket £15

Then one of the real tests comes against Derby which is now sold out as of this morning.
