So out of all the players that left us last season is there one player who you would bring for this campaign.?

Game 3 - The Glovers (H)

Team: Yeovil Town

Date: 17/08/18

Where: Meadow Lane

What line-up should Kevin Nolan opt for? What will be the key areas for the Magpies to get a victory? What do you think the final score will be?

Have your say below, join in with the Pride of Nottingham match discussion.

Just watching Notts TV Team Talk programme and Neal Bishop is a guest talking about how he came to join Mansfield, Charlie McParland asked him if he would’ve come back to Notts, he hesitated before answering “without wishing to upset anybody, no I wouldn’t want to go back” he went on to explain he had a great time at Notts and it was good to leave with happy memories if he’d come back things may not have been the same.

I can sort of understand that, what do others think.

What are your experiences of tipping. Do you tip for services received, if so who do you tip? Have you ever had a job where you received a tip?

I generally leave a tip if I’ve been to a restaurant with waiter service but not if it’s a place where you order at the bar and give a table number.

On the cruises we have been on tips are charged to your bill to save you the bother but at £7 per passenger per day it works out a fair bit of money depending how long the cruise is. If you prefer you can have the tips taken off your bill and tip personally.

Any thoughts on tipping?

Earlier this week , (after the televised Rams v Leeds game)I was conversing on Messenger with one of my old Rams fan mates. We were discussing were we went wrong and part of his reply  made me laugh. He said"Our players have it away too often"I know many a true word is spoken in jest but hey players do have a life away from football. What he meant to type was-"We Gave (the ball) it away too often"

Do any members have any similar  amusing typos ?

Fitzsimons 4 Lack of a defence exposes Fitz, but made some good saves

Bird 4 A nervous opening 15 minutes but grew into the game

Duffy 5 a typical Duffy performance

Hewitt 3.5 Losing count at the number of failed passes.

Kellett 6 Neat but will he be up for the physical battles of L2

Crawford 5 took goal well but needed to gt into the game more

Jones 4 Inaccurate pass allowed Boro to break to score their 3rd

Hawkridge 3.5 Anonymous and that's being kind

Husin 6.5 MotM always uses the ball well, never a misplaced pass...a focal point of what a side should be built around

Alessandra 4 Boro easily pick pocketed the ball off him too many times. Coolly taken penalty

Stead 6 Back on the scoring trail after the horrific miss at Cambridge. Thought penalty was well signalled and keeper saved comfortably

Another new member to welcome folks, @Becky has joined us.

A warm welcome to our latest signing @Berie8128

My next door neighbour is a lovely bloke and him and his wife were very good to us when we’d just moved into our house and our lives took a devastating turn for the worst.

We get on really well however he is a Fword fan, we have some great banter and just recently he’s put a sign on his garden gate (see picture) which he leaves open and it’s the first thing I see when I open my back door.

My question is can I buy anything similar to put up that is Notts County related just to get my own back.

Any suggestions gratefully received.

Apologies for posting this picture.

I woke up this morning having a pretty horrible dream about my brother, well it was a nightmare really, it has prompted me to go and see him, we are the only two members of our family who are left.

I don’t usually remember my dreams but this was pretty vivid and I woke up sweating ????, anyone else have nasty dreams?

happy birthday @BenBlyth

are you still doing photography? hope you have a good birthday.

Happy Birthday to PON member @Bolsover Pie

do you think some of the issues with the way notts have played is partly down to the club having too much pressure on themselves to do well this season?

i wonder if the defence dont feel comfortable with fitzsimons and visa versa.

could collin have made that much of a difference in goal? nobody will credit him but when he played well, so did notts. if the defence stumbled so did collin. i am not impressed by fitzsimons, i dont think hes taken his chance or faith shown in him by kn. what do you think?

Do you think Notts will use the emergency loan window?

Good morning PoN. Well how are we all feeling the morning after the night before, was it all a bad dream? I’m going to try and forget about it to be honest.

This morning I’m doing a Park Run, “what’s that?” I hear you say, well it’s a 5 kilometre run in a park, there will probably be around 400 people, some take it more serious than others, at the end your time and position is recorded then you can try to get better by beating your time next week if you want. It’s good exercise and good fun, I’ve done around 14 up to now my best time is 30 minutes 14 seconds.

Not much else happening today apart from recovering from my run, I hope everyone has a good day. Come on and tell us what you are doing on a football free Saturday.

Good morning PoN and what a beautiful one it is here, the sun is streaming through the windows and the temperature is climbing.

Its match night tonight, I’m looking forward to the game later on let’s hope we can get that first win under our belts.

Before that some more work has come in for me to do so I’ll be busy on the computer and popping on here from time to time. If I’ve got time this afternoon I want to get in my camper van to investigate air getting into the water system, I think there’s a leak somewhere but the pipes disappear all over the place, should be fun.

So what is everybody else up to, who’s going to the match? What are you doing during the day? Let’s keep the daily chat going.

Are you ready for County’s 3rd Game of the season against Yeovil on Friday night.

Who’s coming to the lane then.?

You will now need to have a digital radio to follow the Notts matches, Radio Nottingham will broadcast F*r*st commentary on both 103.8 and 95.5 FM and Notts matches on digital. This is because they can no longer broadcast on MW.

Seems a bit unfair on Notts fans who haven’t got a digital radio. Thoughts?

So the magpie was none another than Gary Liddle

welldone to Everyone that guessed correctly.

Good morning all, I thought I would try this idea again, it’s one I’ve tried on here before with not much success. It might work better now we’ve got more people posting.  The idea is we have a daily thread and just put a few words about your daily lives, a bit like you might do on Facebook etc.

I had a good nights sleep no nightmares thankfully.

Its raining here which I’m not too sad about because I’ve got computer work to do for my website, so I will be mostly on the computer pretty much all day.

Both me and Mrs. Big Tone are on a diet I was pleased I had lost another three quarters of a pound this morning when I stepped on the scales. Down to 11 stone 9 now, two years ago I was 13 stone 7.

Whats everyone else up to? How’s the weather where you are?

Name your three favourite singers or bands?

PON's members will have a wide variety of taste I suspect when it comes to music, so I am interested to know what everyone's three favourite acts are.
