1. Replacement of Sheridan? Controversial to some, but current losing run with little sign of defensive improvement, maybe a move for Rowett worthy of consideration.

2. Total revamp of scouting. Both for identifying players, and technical analysis of opposition

3. A footballing philosophy

4. Serious questioning of squads capabilities. Need to ship players out.

5. Boosting crowd initiatives. Experimental lowering prices.

6. Return of the Bench initiative

7. Revamp of Media depts output. Too subdued recently, makes Benedict's input worthy

8. Need to clean seats more regularly

9 Transparency with Supporters so that surprises of Winding Up orders are a thing of the past

10. Redecorating facilities and new facade of Family Stand

As above. FIFA's mission to completely ruin the World Cup continues.

On the plus side, we might qualify.

The takeover seemed to be a never ending story, where leads stopped dead in their tracks but there was no lack of rumours.

More believable rumours had emerged regarding the club's future.

I can only think we was heading for admin and possible further uncertainty but this has been avoided.

I ask you does this situation reveal more about Ray?

Anyone read this week's article by GB ? What an absolute arrogant self opinionated piece of work he is , I don't usually read to much into those kind of articles by no marks like him , but he ruffled my feathers here . Have a read if you can would be interested in the thoughts of the community .

Just a short time ago, the focus of most peoples worries seemed to be 'admin'. There's still no certain answer about this, however it seems more and more likely because of Alan Hardy protecting his investment (the same way Ray did by exchanging contracts). Can Alan now have the keys please? ;)

However, things are very much on the downer around Meadow Lane. We have parted ways with John Sheridan and there's a bleak list of candidates who may possibly replace him.

Personally I think Hartlepool and Morecambe are safe.

Accrington Stanley appear to be turnings things around, along with Newport County now picking up points (typical for us right?).

Cheltenham Town look dire but you can place any bets on the safety due to a single point. There more pressure, uncertainty and lack of stability the more we may struggle. Throw any inexperienced manager into the mix (no digs to Alan Smith) but it's looking even more bleak. The positives are the fact the clubs getting major renovations with the takeover, we may get a manager who can save the club and he may be backed with staff of his choosing (who can offer him proper support) - rather than leaving him off the grid or landlocked with someone who doesn't want to work with him.

Our form is also the worst out of the bottom three.

I was worried about this last season, I expected this to happen because of the direction the club was seemingly being lead towards. You can't fix cracks so easily when it requires real work.

Are you worried? I am.

As the title suggests, rather then the positions that are needed (we all know we need players in every position) lets have some actual names.

I'll start with Danny Rowe from Afc Fylde

Just based on this season so far, in 3 categories:

Starting 11: Stead and Forte

Subs: Thompson, Audel, Campbell, Richards, Loach, O'Connor, Milsom, Laing.

Never ever again (please): Hollis, Duffy, Dickinson, Hewitt, Collin, Oliver, Burke, Atkinson, Rodman...

I can't judge some players such as Aborah, as I haven't seen enough of them this season

Saturday's Fixtures:
Bradford City v Chesterfield
Southend United v Sheffield United

Hartlepool United v Grimsby Town

What line-up should caretaker manager Alan Smith opt for? What will be the key areas for the Magpies to get a victory? What do you think the final score will be?

Have your say below, join in with the Pride of Nottingham match discussion.

Leeds United v Rotherham United
Charton Athletic v Bristol Rovers
Shrewsbury Town v Fleetwood Town

Accrington Stanley v Hartlepool United

I'm not sure about this, but then it might only be for 1 game.

Looks like the talk about Rodders leaving was true. Rodders has been released.

On the OS now with a cursory statement: http://www.nottscountyfc.co.uk/news/article/2016-17/notts-county-alex-rodman-released-contract-3502654.aspx

Once the HMRC tax bills paid and the embargo lifted, can anyone name any constructive and realistic signings that we could make?

I must say, I think we will be relying on the loan market myself, but provided these players have experience or are good enough - I have no complaints but we need some re-enforcements. I'm curious if anyone here can suggest any players whom they feel could help fight the battle, if we could capture their services.

Positions for me would be GK, CB x2, Winger and ST.

Bbcrns tweeted that Lincoln City have rebuffed an approach from NCFC for there manager . Thoughts please

Hi everyone hope your all well.

New to the board so go easy please. Originally from Edinburgh (Hearts fan) but living in Cumbria for the last 16 years.

I'm not that close to Carlisle but go along when I can with my lads and watch Utd, yes I'm a glutton for punishment.

Hope to get to a few Notts games in the North in the news season and also make it down to ML.

Maybe catch up with a few of you.

Cheers

We need this man back pronto. Would love to see the faces of our players if he walked in the dressing room.

He took no prisoners the first time and he wouldn't this time.

I really hope we don't sack him, lets get him two big strapping centre halves and players who want to play for the club and then see where we sit.

The whole club is surrounded in apathy at the minute and we need to stick with strong personalities like John.

Big AH to target academy , to make it best in the area , and putting wheels in motion by interviewing premier league academy director , ended with a #class of92 , ?

Well folks, we're almost at the end of another year. We at Pride of Nottingham would like to take this opportunity to wish you all a very merry Christmas and a happy new year.

We hope you all have an enjoyable festive period and that, whatever you get up to, and with whomever, you have a wonderful time in doing so, and may 2017 bring you joy and happiness.

All the best,

Notts Joe, JJ and the rest of the PON squad.

New Year's Eve Fixtures:
Barnsley v Biringham City
Wolverhampton Wanderers v Queens Park Rangers
Bolton Wanderers v Scunthorpe United
