  1. Accrington Stanley, who are they? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CgYP1d5nN2o

Well, Stanley are the next side to visit Meadow Lane this season, our results have been mixed, but this would be a good fixture to get back on track...

Now then folks, playing and coaching staff links between the two clubs...

My starter would be Andy Parkinson...

    over to you!

  2. Here we aim to discuss the article of our guest writer, Colin Slater. - Link Here (this will take you to the article)

Now, we would like to discuss the feature and for members to add their thoughts on points raised by Mr Notts County.

What are your memories of Sol Campbell? Do you remember Morecambe away from home during the Championship winning season within League Two back in 2009-10? Do you agree about the thoughts that the current transition relates to what is happening right now, in the early days of 2015-16?

Lets have your thoughts on this.

  3. Good morning folks.

Beautiful morning here in Northumberland, we are going on a long walk today down the coast, hopefully we will find a pub for a bit of liquid refreshment.

Here's the view from my bedroom window, which also happens to be my lounge and kitchen window.

  5. Dear Notts County fans

I am a Leyton Orient fan and I come in peace and to ask for your help.

In 2012, London hosted a fantastic Olympics, but the legacy of that event could be the very future of smaller football clubs with a long and proud history. The bill for reconversion of the stadium stands at £272m with West Ham United only contributing £15m. Boris Johnson, the LLDC and the government, refuse point blank to publish the rental agreement that sees the taxpayer forking out for repairs, water, electric, pitch maintenance, stewarding and even policing costs, meaning a massive state aid giveaway – an unfair subsidy on competition between ALL clubs, and not just those closest to the Queen Elizabeth Park.

A joint London coalition of several fans trusts have started a petition which we urge EVERY football fan and taxpayer to sign – the link to the petition appears below – and to share with friends, family and work colleagues.

    Thanks in advance

  6. I'm with Virgin presently and pay £8 for 1,000 minutes, unlimited texts and 500 mb data.

The thing is I rarely use the phone for making calls, I probably average around 20-30 minutes each month, I might do 100 texts in a month but I could do with more data, especially while we are away.

Does anyone know of a deal which will give more data and less minutes and texts for around the same price?

  7. Not in any way a funny one today I'm afraid.

I thought it was worth sharing just to show the real nature of man.

On one hand technology has advanced to such a level we can capture video of such high quality...

On the other a sad indictment of the World we live in.

Don't forget to give this a link folks, comments are also welcome. Thanks!

  9. About to be announced today.

My guess is Thierry Audel but could be anyone.

  10. Jimmy Spencer has a small fracture, he's out for roughly a month perhaps longer.
Curtis Thompson has a hamstring problem
Ivard Sprockel has a groin injury

Also injured are Ronan Murray and Taylor McKenzie.

What do you make of all these injuries? Who's the biggest loss? What do you think of Jimmy's injury??

    Discuss folks.

  11. I want to take a moment to commend the efforts made by this young man, I have met him a handful times at both home and away games and he comes across as a lad with a lot of passion for this football club.

PON is a very good website, I did struggle at first but the detail is in the amount of time you put in. If you are not prepared to spend more than a few minutes getting a feel for things than you are wasting your time but if you can be patient, you will start to pick it up. Joe has answered various questions I have asked, always promptly and the responses are always helpful.

At the end of the day this site is head and shoulders above many I regularly visit and it just needs people to post their thoughts.

  12. There has been talk for weeks of Moniz needing more fire-power up front and the bid for I.M proved that to be true, but

who would you go for and why.  lets set a sensible budget say £150,000 as it seems, for a change we have money to actually buy a player!!!

Would you go back in for Izzie?

This is not a bash Spencer and Stead thread, just the opposite to support them!

  13. Tuesday Night Fixtures:

    Blackburn Rovers v Cardiff City

    MK Dons v Bolton Wanderers

    Bury v Fleetwood Town

    Rochdale v Walsall

    Luton Town v Bristol Rovers

    York City v Yeovil Town

  14. Good morning fellow Pon'ers I hope you are all well.

It's cloudy but dry here on Tyne and Wear where we are camping, today we are moving on even further up north to a site right beside the beach in Northumberland, so it's a case if packing up the van and getting on the road, it's about a two hour drive so not too bad.

Don't forget to come on this thread and tell us what you are doing today, it doesn't have to be exciting just a snap shot of your life. What's the weather like where you are? Are you working, uni, school? What's for dinner? Anything planned for tonight? That sort of thing, you get the idea.

  15. Ricardo Moniz: 'ashamed' by defeat at Oxford.

"I am responsible for this but the defence has to be responsible and we all have to be responsible ourselves. It's a big shame.

At Gillingham last season we did what we could, but now we did not do that, that's the biggest disappointment. I will hold myself responsible and want to protect the players, but today I was absolutely ashamed - all the consequences are for me".

Do you feel it's time Moniz spoke to certain players about their performances? What do you make of our managers comments?

    Lets discuss this on PON....

  16. Be honest, what do you think three league games in? are you concerned? Is it too early to panic? Are you still optmistic???

I am concerned about our defence, it looked good against Stevenage but poor compared to Mansfield and Oxford. Three games in, I still think it's too early go panic, the players do need time and Moniz deserves the support. If the end product is Stevenage style performances, we must back him. It's way to early to start panicking but my optimistic views are disappearing.

    Brighten things up Notts!

  17. It's our v.i.p's birthday today, so happy birthday Mr Member of the Month.

I hope you have a great day @nottsfever

From all at Pride of Nottingham.

  18. Serious question here so no "get a shotgun" answers please!

Getting fed up of the neighbours cat coming onto our front lawn to do their business.

We've tried one of those ultrasonic sensor thingeys. Nope.

Any other ideas or liks to things I can buy that do work please?

    Many thanks

  19. Same website again...

Wow. Serious case of brain freeze. That must be one cold ice cream!

  20. Miserable day over here. Damp and warm. Mornings are getting darker. I understand completely how weather can contribute to depression in people.

  21. Absolutely shocking service, constantly dropping out, delaying and why oh f#cking why do we need a constant picture of the premier league table? Perform media are a shambles as a company who try their hardest to blame you the user when you have a problem, then when they realise it's their fault they just ignore you, i'm still awaiting responses from 2013!!!

Had enough and cancelling my subscription now, don't see the point in wasting my money.

What do you all think to the service?

  22. Evening everybody, I have to say I'm proper ashamed of the County players for their "performance" against Mansfield. Mind you, you know what local pub teams are like... lose their heads when they get an early goal int that right?

  23. Did anyone else suspect the home attendance figure to be wrong? I would like to know where the club could fit another 5,000, let alone another 10.

I really feel the 10k given may be wrong.

The family stand looked woeful but the KOP looked packed, as did the Pavis.

    Does anyone agree here?

  24. I know Scott Bennett seemed to come in for a lot of stick on the radio yesterday.

Was it a good idea to sub him right after his 'discussion' with Roy?

We seem to be seriously struggling and he was supposed to be the steady man at the back!

  25. If you're one of the estimated 50 million people running Windows 10, Microsoft could be monitoring your computer for pirated software.

An update to the computing giant's End User Licence Agreement has granted it the right to remotely disable counterfeit games, programmes and hardware.

"[Microsoft] may automatically check your version of the software and download software update or configuration changes, including those that prevent you from accessing the Services, playing counterfeit games, or using unauthorised hardware peripheral devices," read the new terms and conditions.

Microsoft is yet to confirm whether it plans to exercise its right to hunt down illegitimate software remotely, and a company spokesperson skated around the issue when pressed for details.

"We take claims of intellectual property infringement seriously and review them in accordance with our standard procedures," said the firm in a statement to NDTV.

"We also continue to review the content of our Windows Store periodically as described in this blog post, as we work to deliver a great customer experience and provide fair and transparent developer policies and enforcement."

Windows 10 is a seamless operating system designed to work and sync across PC, mobiles, tablets and a range of other devices.

Free for the first year, the software began its rollout to PCs on July 29. The mobile phone edition is expected to be released in the coming months.
