Add your caption below folks, I'm going to give the community longer. I will leave this open until after the game tomorrow. Please do like other members comments, this will be how we judge the winner!

    Give it a go...

  2. I try to get on three times a day, I am truly hooked and I think it's a great site, good growing community. I don't always post when I visit, I mainly stick to posting in the evening or night.

    What about you?

  3. Well, listening to the Chairman's interview with Colin Slater yesterday, it highlighted a possible fact that if we win we may relegate Yeovil Town. It's a tough season for them, they reached a good height by making the Championship and it just shows how concerning it is to rush promotion without having the right things in place.

That said, I don't see them being any sort of a push over but I don't believe that us being able to relegate them will make them play any better either.

I think it's probably going to be a dull game, so for us it will be about us taking our chances.

Let's hope Moniz can hit the ground running and we show him the support required to move on, so we can move a way from relegation or at least have a proper crack at it. COYP!

    1-2 Notts is my prediction...

    Score Predictions? Thoughts?

  4. Bayern 0-2 Gladbach on Sunday - did you see it on BT Sport?

Two league games against FCB this season, 4 points, no goals conceded.

First win by 2 clear goals ever in Munich.

Under the cosh for first 30 minutes, then a mistake by Neuer and Gladbach were in control more and more as the game went on.

    Bayern, out fought and out-thought.

    Oh to have been there...

All together now (to the tune of Yellow Submarine).

Zieht den Bayern die Lederhosen aus

    Lederhosen aus, Lederhosen aus,

    etc. etc.

  5. This is a big event for the final push folks, the J&J Committee have arranged a very exciting event. Will you be going? Good chance to get your Forest friends down to Meadow Lane! I will be asking @jsrjay and @super_ram (the latter will be supporting Notts obviously) ;)

  6. A very sad loss to the world of cricket. He was an icon in the game and will be forever remembered as the voice of cricket.

He was also a true gent. I had the pleasure of working with him on many occasions when I worked at Trent Bridge and he was by far and away the nicest, polite and genuine of all the commentators.

While the likes of Boycott would arrive in their Jags with even bigger attitudes, Richie would arrive after...getting the the bus in from his hotel. He used to say he loved the fact that he could be well respected enough to be able to enjoy the places he visited properly.

    A sad loss.

  7. Just a parting goodbye before I sort out going off to Ireland for the week. Hoep everyone stays safe and Notts come up with a few wins (which I suspect they will now.!)

    Best wishes.

  8. Will be announced as head coach tomorrow according to radio Nottingham. He's resolved his family problems now apparently.

  9. Just a quick promo for anyone wanting a superb day out with the kids, young and old. Took our 6 and 9 yr old there today (near Wakefield, Leeds.) and it was brill. Gives them a chance to do things they will probably never do again. Driving jcb's and throwing the weight of them around is brill. Abbie the 9yr old got the chance to drive a land rover 4x4 as well. Where else does a 9yr old go from digging with a jcb to driving a land rover? Superb for kids (and yes me as dad had a blast too on the bigger 'rides' trying to prove I can control the diggers better than the kids!!! Not too busy so hardly any queues. Could walk from one ride to the next with a waiting time of only a few minutes.

    Highly recommended.

  10. Ill be in Luton (from belfast) for a week during the time you guys play preston at home on a tuesday (i think) night.

I am a huge Paddy McCourt fan, have been since he played in Ireland and then onto Celtic and love to see him play live. Whats the best stand to sit in for the banter/atmosphere etc at your ground?

    Cheers in advance

  13. Seems to have come back into the picture under Hart. I remain unconvinced, he seems to have no end product. Comments?

  14. Easter Monday Fixtures:
    Brentford v Nottingham Forest

Rotherham United v Brighton & Hove Albion

Bradford City v Preston North End

    Leyton Orient v Gillingham

    Burton Albion v Wycombe Wanderers

    Oxford United v York City

  15. Another 6 pointer. Coventry lost 1-0 at home to Leyton Orient on Thursday. They played well though. I think we will be more attacking in this game. We will score I reckon, but the Calamity Brothers could be exposed. 1-1 draw I reckon.

  16. First of two rounds over the Easter weekend. These are the fixtures for Good Griday. The Fixtures for Easter Monday will be posted on Saturday. Travelling to Walsall on Friday so it'll be pretty late by the time I get home.

    Friday Fixtures:

    Millwall v Charlton Athletic

    Nottingham Forest v Wolverhampton Wanderers

    Crewe Alexandra v Crawley Town

    Port Vale v Colchester United

    Morecambe v Accrington Stanley

    Plymouth Argyle v Burton Albion

  17. The X Factor auditions are taking place in the Victoria Centre, Nottingham today, I think I'll get down there and give it a go with Bombastic.

  18. Go to IKEA car park with some sandwiches and a flask and watch people arrive who have travelled for miles only to find it is closed because it's Easter Sunday.

    Great fun

  19. I watched some of the Notts Ladies v Arsenal Ladies last night on BT Sport and Notts Ladies scored a brilliant free kick, it was a crafty trick they had obviously practiced in training and it paid off.

    A good attendance too 1,600

  20. How do you think it feels to be the manager of this club we support? Could you do it?

More importantly what does it take to catch a break?

I wonder if our managers worry about how long they have to implement their plans and vision, does it weigh on their mind? There is little chance we will see success unless we give managers time and see it has a two year plan. That said, I would not become the manager.

To catch a break whoever must be good! Plus understand the fans.

  21. Looks like they are doing a Forest and bottling their bid for promotion. Whats going on with them?

  22. Easter weekend. 2 games. Massive doesn't do it justice. Walsall are 4 points ahead of us and are in the relegation battle as well. Their form hasn't been great. It's a game we could win but we won't IMO. A draw would be acceptable, another point closer to safety. 1-1. Spencer.

  23. Walsall. Ticket allocation sold out so at least 300! Expect (hope) it to be much more, distance/bank holiday etc.

Expect a battle, nothing less than 100% effort will do. We need points now, a loss puts us right in the stinky stuff.

    4-0! (2-1 Spencer,Bajner-)

    Regards Al

    You Pies!
