Who do you think will win the league? 9 members have voted
There's a big weekend coming up at the top of the Premier League so I thought it'd be interesting to get your thoughts - who will be lifting the trophy come May?
I think we all WANT Leicester to do it. It would certainly be the most surprising triumph of my lifetime, made all the more thrilling by the prevelance of serious money at the top of the game. They have a settled, confident team, the league's top scorer, no matches against fellow challengers after Arsenal and no cup distractions. But do they have the depth and experience? One or two injuries could seriously derail them. Can they handle the pressure?
Man City are the only team at the top with real experience in a title race, and they have European football and an upcoming change at the top to contend with. Arsenal could close to within two points if they win on Sunday, but they're serial bottlers. Spurs are well-positioned to capitalise if Leicester stutter, but they haven't won a title in donkey's years - will they choke with the finish line in sight? I put United in for a laugh.
What do you all think?
Hope Ray takes his cheque book with him!

Sorry about the delay, please do watch - share etc. I haven't been able to upload this due to broadband issues.
There's a very funny moment towards the back end of the video, however it's all well worth watching but see what happened to @Joe Jones during the answering of the questions. whaha hahaha!
its better late than never @notts-joe.
the first fan gave some excellent answers, really enjoyed the video and jj's face towards the end! priceless
You know it's going to be a bad season when you are out 2nd ball of the season "Handled the Ball" as happened yesterday to Sean Dickson of Kent vs. Leicestershire. See the video here:
According to Wisden (what fun I had trawling through the Yellow Bible!):
This was only the 61st occasion in First Class cricket ever.
This was the first time in Cahmpionship cricket since Cheteshwar Pujara also against Leicestershire in 2014 at Derby.
The first Kent player to be out this way since G. Bennett vs. Sussex at Hove in 1872.
The most common place for this to happen is Bloemfontein where 5 batsmen have been out this way - perhaps it's the altitude!!
For terminally sad here's the full list:

I thought Jamie was giving everyone a chance to impress? Whether Pedro's son could fit the right back, Centre Half or defensive midfield positions sometime this season, I am expressing extreme disappointment. Especially as Boston have given him some rave reviews.

@notts-joe Sorry Joe, If you think that wasn't a red card then I'd maybe swap ML for the WWE......silly kick out and a straight red every day of the week
It looked more like a deliberate trip to me, I suppose only the highlights will confirm it out not (either that or specsavers) ![]()
-edit-
Oooooooo, he did kick out. That certainly is a red!
My view certainly didn't make it seem like he lost his temper originally but the highlights, well, erm, highlight it better.
Loach has apologised for the first goal on twitter but it was just a stupid mistake, he doesn't look confident at all but he tried his best, the second goal wasn't really his fault either

Evening all
A bit of pre-match reading looking over the month just passed:

A large portion of it was written post-Mansfield, hence the ranting and raving!

I've seen a few people talk about it here and there, complaining that people want to sit where their ticket says, for a game like today I think this is a necessary evil, if a games sold out then you surely sit where you are allocated rather than cause trouble down the line right?

Several things that have to be done by this football club:
Give Cooper a contract, the man talks sense and doesn't deserve to not have a contract with this bunch of gutless players. He has been dealt a rotten hand and cannot bring any players in, only work with what he has.
Sack Guy Branston: Just look at the quality of players the so called head of recruitment has brought to this club, criminal if he stays.
Gut this squad: I said earlier today maybe bring in 8 players, I'm now thinking 10 and just ship out 20, pay them off if they are no good.
Give youth a chance. We're bringing these young lads through, so give some of them a chance. Not all at once, but drip feed them to see if they are any good. We've played plenty of 18 year olds in the past for quite a few games, some have made it, some haven't, but at least see if they can sink, or swim.
Finally, I've come to conclusion that Ricardo Moniz was an absolute genius. To get this bunch of players, playing the football they did and scoring goals is phenomenal. Ok, we couldn't defend, but he must have seen that and thought stuff it, we'll play the football to hopefully score more goals than the opposition.
I will be there on Saturday, if only to doff my cap to Derry and Jimmy, two people you could never accuse of being spineless!
It's got to the point where there is very little to say, we've been saying these things all season.
New owners, new season, new players, NO GUY BRANSTON!
On the community index page, within the sidebar - PON has a 'Popular Contributors' block.
Now, this isn't something I take personally seriously for myself, much like why I don't run for the Member of the Month but I do enjoy seeing who does climb into the top five list of popular contributors.
Have you seem it, and do you ever have a glance at who is listed?

Time to stop blaming the manager, the players are totally to blame for this debacle which sums up our season, don't like to say it but the majority are showing no pride in wearing the famous shirt and need shipping out of the club, massive job for Mark Cooper but we have got to be ruthless if we are going to move forward, fair play to Mansfield they have taken the piss out of us this season.

Evenly balanced at lunch on Day 2. Slightly worrying for England are the bowling figures of Broad and Anderson. Jimmy took 0 for 40 off 16 overs in Notts innings and Broady currently stands on 11-5-22-0 (economic at least, even if the overall Lancashire progress makes Chris Tavare look like a T20 specialist)
