Well @Blackville and I will be there. @Blackville is bringing his kit and I'm going to be manager for the day, after all I was an England national team manager for 3 years and won a trophy for them, and got them into Europe for the first time!
Not at Association Football I admit, but who cares with Notts in this state.

If Leyton Orient win or draw, we drop into the relegation zone. That is all....

I decided I've had enough of watching Notts go through the constant battle against relegation, changing managers right left and centre, the players don't care anymore.
I'm sorry to say this but I am moving over to the red side of the Trent. I am going to change my user name to StanCollymore, I hope I will still be made welcome on this forum because Notts will be my second team but from now on it's COME ON YOU REDS!! Forest Mad here I come.

Ever dreamt about a movie you watched? or had one of them moments where you feel the dream is real?
Past few days I have been and I blame Notts for this, in fact one dream I had was of Meadow Lane in the mind 80s and boy did that bring tears. I find dream to be rather interesting! So, what was your last weird dream?

Would you like to see a return of the Anglo Italian Cup? If the Football League looked to restart the competition would you support it?
For me I'd welcome it back provided it was profitable for all teams or at least it covered the flight fee's between away games. I would be more open to this returning, than I would see something like the JPT continuing. I know some fans will be against the idea, you know the build up in fixtures or it's more hassle than it would be worth but I am curious to know regardless.
Have your say.. -
Forget all this negative "We're going down rubbish" get behind the lads and give them your full support.
PS Don Masson should be knighted...................Arise Sir Don
PPS Is it true that the statue of Clough has been spotted shaking due to Alcohol withdrawal?

I'm really sad things didn't work out with Shaun Derry, and hope he learns from his mistakes and benefits from the experience in the future.
But now we have to consider where we go next. How do we boost our (IMO slim) changes of staying up? I'm not in favour of an appointment from within as this would inevitably mean Paul Hart. Leave him with the youth team, that's what he does best.
The bookies are talking about Gary Johnson and Darren Ferguson. Johnson did wonderful things at Yeovil until it all started to go wrong last season. I'd at least trust him to put together a new squad. I'm not so sure about Ferguson, he's used to spending far more money than he'll have at Notts. Danny Wilson is also on the market and has applied before, but his last successes were a long, long time ago so I'd steer clear.
Anyone else got any ideas?

As the title says does anyone own a red car?
Or will anyone admit to owning a red car....
-
Just checked Skybet and his odds have dropped to 7/4! Not sure where that came from as last time I looked he was 17/1.
The bookies usually have it right so is he the next man in the hotseat?

I was interested to see Ricardo Moniz emerge as the bookies' favourite to be our new manager. I know bookies' favourites come and go, as people lay bets on managers whose odds are already shortening, triggering a chain reaction. But this is genuinely curious - few would have even heard of Moniz, much less have him down as a potential candidate for a potentially fourth-level club. His last job may have ended in failure, but this is still a man with experience of the Premier League and Bundesliga and who won a national championship only recently. So is something going on?
As he managed Red Bull Salzburg to the Austrian title a few years ago and worked for Red Bull in New York, there has been gossip that Red Bull are about to get involved. I hope not: if Red Bull were to get involved, that would be the end of Notts County. It wouldn't make any sense either in view of our bigger neighbours. Coventry strikes me as a far likelier victim of RB - big, ready-made stadium, city starved of success and no rivals.
There might be another clue from Moniz's past though. In 2012-13 he managed Ferencvaros, one of Hungary's biggest clubs. We all remember the outpouring of affection/cringeworthy love-in with about 30,000 Hungarians when Bajner joined the club - maybe one of them is wealthy and is looking to invest?

Why would a guy like Ricardo Moniz want to come to Notts?
Look at objectively. We're rubbish. We're looking down the barrel regarding dropping to the lowest league.
We have no money.
We have a squad that has gone through a season of hoofball (again like most seasons in recent history with Trews managers)
He is a technically gifted manager who could in reality walk into much MUCH bigger jobs in most countries incl the top division in UK imo.
Rumours about Shan as his coach also doing the rounds. WHY?
What is happening that we dont know about? I know if I were him I would be giving it a wide birth and saying "give it to Danny Wilson. He's always bloody mentioned so give him a crack of the whip."
If we don't have a budget for Ferguson or Pressley or Wilson what are we doing talking to a manager like Moniz?
If he does come then it's a tough gig for him. Can you imagine the response when he says to Haydn Hollis I want you to do that thing called pass to your team-mate in front of you???
Maybe this is the storyline for the new X-Files series!

England won 2-0 in Switzerland. That was their toughest fixture on paper so they are looking good already.
Northern Ireland won 2-1 in Hungary. Roy Carroll was in goal. Gives them a decent shot at qualification.
Scotland were unlucky to lose 2-1 in Germany. Anything out of that game would have been a bonus. Plenty of good signs to build on. Rep. Of Ireland are in the same group. We beat Georgia 2-1 away. Great start.
Wales visit Andorra tomorrow.

Total utter plonker who deserves never to work on tv again imo. Well done the Beeb for making the right choice!
Jeremy Clarkson's contract will not be renewed after an "unprovoked physical attack" on a Top Gear producer, the BBC's director general has confirmed.
Tony Hall said he had "not taken this decision lightly" and recognised it would "divide opinion".
However, he added "a line has been crossed" and he "cannot condone what has happened on this occasion".
Clarkson was suspended on 10 March, following what was called a "fracas" with Top Gear producer Oisin Tymon.
The row, which took place in a Yorkshire hotel, was said to have occurred because no hot food was provided for him following a day's filming.
There cannot be one rule for one and one rule for another dictated by either rank, or public relations and commercial considerations
