Michael Doyle's 50 yarder

The commentary is very naff and annoying, the goal is very good. Regardless if the opposition standard, it takes a lot of qualify to score those types of goals.

Notts are scoring much better goals now we are non league, I think this one will take some beating come the end of the season.

I've never known a season like this one for spectacular goals, but that tops the lot. Must have been fantastic to see live.

@Chris You've got to bear in mind that it's radio commentary, so they will talk more. And there's no way I'm keeping calm if I see a goal like that!

Personally I enjoyed the commentary. It had a touch of this: ;)

Open net, I'm surprised he managed to hit the height and find the net. It's a good goal, some are going over the top on social media about how good it is though.

It's more what is said, then the actual reaction. We know who Michael Doyle, we know how old he is - Charlie was probably speechless but as someone who talks for a living I just find it to be extremely annoying.

The moment "in your life" is spoken, it's just like a chalk board.

An absolute blistering goal. I wouldn’t call it my favourite of all time by any means, not because it wasn’t fantastic but because of the occasion. The FA trophy is not a priority at all so I would put less spectacular goals as my favourites purely because of their importance. Lee Hughes against Rochdale, McSwegan and Carlie’s against florist were more significant to me.

It's a good goal, it's by far the best but it was superbly struck. I agree that there's a bit of luck, normally players would never dream of striking from there and it helps that everyone from the oppositions team is away from the goal.

On a different day, he or anyone might have missed that. To win like that in such as fashion and in the dying moments it's truly a great goal.

That's the type of goals that should end the game and shut the opposition side out, what a goal, what a time to strike.

When people ask what 'American Pie' is about, they're missing the point. The song isn't about the lines themselves - it's about what is between the lines. The song is about what isn't there.
