At least we got 1 point out of it and no condeded goals, Fitzsimons did much better at not letting goals in this time.
Glad the draw moved Notts from off the bottom place, it's just a win now and the season may finally start. If some good form follows then we could forget about the awful start but I feel yesterday the squad gave what they needed.
I have heard it wasn't a very good game but I suspect the truth is somewhere in the middle.
Notts seem unable to attack properly if they defend but I would take a draw right now anyway, it could have been different if the penalty appeal was given but there's not much to dwell. I am more than happy with the point and I am sure Kewell will be building steady blocks to enable the club to move forward.
We’ve been in this position before, can’t remember when it was but there was a song which went to the tune of “when the saints go marching on” it was something about the football league is upside down and we were at the top, can anyone remember the words?

Good morning it’s a dull grey start but at least it’s not raining, a couple of days ago they said it was going to rain all day today now they’re saying it’ll stay dry, who knows I give up with weather forecasts it’s best to just look out of the window.
I’ve got lots of boring computer stuff to do which has built up while I’ve been on holiday so that’s today’s plan, hopefully if I get it all done I can go a bit of a walk with Mrs Big Tone this afternoon.
Have a good day everyone, let us know what’s appending in your life today.
Kevin Nolan played for Bolton and Newcastle and west ham scoring 99 goals in his career and over 500 professional gases. He became the captain for Bolton 2 playoff finals which he won but after all of this he never got a international call up in his footballing career. Do you think he was deserving of a international call up.?

Okay, so I'm attending this on Thursday evening with Chris and Mark.
Due to Contractual reasons, I'm not quite sure what he'll be able to say or be barred from saying?
However, I DO intend to ask questions!
In this regard, are there any questions you'd like me to ask him on your behalf?
(Answers on a postcard please! NO! Only joking...)

Thought it might actually be worthwhile starting a new thread on giving credit, where credit's due

Stand out and deserved MotM . Have seen him before at Accrington and hadnt noticed that Northampton had signed him from Rangers. How did Notts miss this one?

Bit late starting this but hey it's match day! Let's hope Notts come up with the goods.
Went for a Park Run this morning, 5k and I managed to do a bit better time, just over 31 minutes, I like running it helps me clear my thoughts, I came 12th in my age group but well down the field of over 400 runners overall.
This afternoon I will be listening to the match on the radio and hoping for a win, then we've been invited to my son's for tea and a games night so looking forward to that.
What's everyone else doing today?

This gives the fans a far better insight into the reserve and academy players, I would be disappointed if the club doesn't keep this up because it's fantastic to see.
I would like to see more videos on the reserves but not the youth team, after losing Donga He it's best to keep hold of them until they're professional signed on.
Excellent idea this!
I like the fact the videos have been posted under on topic too.
We players like Ronaldo, Messi , Neymar have big egos but other players do as well. So my question is do players care/think more of the name on the back of the shirt rather than the front .. ie the badge.

Good morning one and all. I’ll start this off today, but unlikely I’ll be able to cover it for next few days as I’m away until Thursday.
To be fair, my day today is based on tomorrow! With me and a friends driving to Liverpool for the Labour Party Conference first thing it’ll be an early start as we have tickets to the first rally tomorrow at 11 with John McDonnell, shadow ex cheq.
Need to get a travel bag down from the loft, sort out copies of all the tickets for different things, timetable of all the other day etc...
Apologies if all my posts are based around politics for the next few days, but that’s where my focus will obviously be! They aren’t are meant to be anti any other party, just keeping with the base of this type of thread, as obviously at a political conference, politics is what I’ll be doing all day for the next week!
Also need to wipe the computer as the mail app on windows 10 is totally screwed and Microsoft have been unable to solve and it seems to have taken root as it can’t be uninstalled now either so it leave it or wipe the whole bloody thing!

Windows 10 is a very good OS, I know people moan about it and myself is included but it's really powerful.
Even the 'home' edition has many great features and things are generally polished. I love how the Microsoft apps are linked together now, I have spent ages trying to sort the calendar app to sync between devices and today it's finally worked.
However, it's been a real hassle and quite time consuming.
Nonetheless it's a great feature to be in-built and will naturally help me organise myself. I'm curious how many PON members make use of all the great applications in-built into their OS and if any else uses the Windows 10 calendar app?

I rely on technology to do my roles with PON and elsewhere, I have seen how much of a difference applications make - not just on Windows computers but on my mobile.
However, I am starting to get a little peeved with big companies half baking their products.
This can be extended to consoles too actually, so many games are released with major bugs in them and updates seem to take forever to resolve the issues.
It might seem harsh to get annoyed with FREE applications, yet for Microsoft to still have major issues in Windows 10 is a major joke. The calendar application for example, my productivity will now be more organised but there's so many bugs!
You pay for your computer, the people who build it - pay Microsoft for a licence so you would expect better.
I mean they are getting smarter, as previous versions of their OS have been quite dated and have suffered a lack of foresight. I just don't expect big companies like them to leave silly bugs in, if I find something on PON - I'm straight onto it. If I or any dev's I know can fix it, I ask - then I report the bug and in a few weeks they tend to be fixed.
Big companies seem to care far less about these things.

So a draw may seem not good enough but for the first time this season I see some hope.. the additions to the defence for me helped massively and the other areas finally today started paying off. At times the defence was under siege but they handeled it well I know we conceived 3 goals but we didn’t loose. Stead Husin and enzio with Hemmings I think played well.
What do you think guys and girls?

So I’ve just seen tomorrow nights Europa schedule with Arsenal and Chelsea now in that competition and Liverpool and spurs in the champions league. I remember when it was Arsenal and Chelsea in the champions league no messing around now it looks like the tides changed and it spurs and Liverpool in the champions league what a difference 4 years make .
