When given a chance to play, he's done well and has found his own form in recent weeks. It's good to see a young lad like him doing well, as he's telling Neal Ardley that he can be a first team player.

Would you give him the nod on a more regular basis?

Good player who just needs to be managed a little better by Neal Ardley, has he looks like the type of player who needs to be playing regularly to find his form. Some players like that but he's done well this season when given a chance.

I've always said the lad just needed time.

He's a good player, when he works hard he's worth a place over Mitch Rose any day of the week in my mind.

Defensively he's quite good, but it's what he does with the ball which solves some of the issues within our midfield. Besides, he's got goals in him and Mitch Rose misses goals my dad could even score now. ;)

A field where dreams become reality.

I couldn't answer that myself @JIMBO , but the very fact you're asking that question is testament to the way he's forced himself into contention after it had looked like he was on his way out. Cracking stuff and just what you want to see in a player.

Yesterday he did very well, worked hard from the word go and for me was the man of the match.

He works better alongside Jim O'Brien in my eyes.

That experience and partnership brings the best out of him I feel.

I have always liked the prospect of Tom Crawford, my display picture here has been of him since his performance in the League Cup against Middlesbrough where he put in a very good performance. I feel he's underused by us and throw in which would be difficult but as a regular player who starts, he looks like the real deal.

I knew he was young but I didn't realise he's only 20. I thought he was a couple of years older! Definitely one for the future, he's worked hard for his chance having had little involvement at the start of the season it now feels like he's got a big role to play in the run in.

Charlie Slater mentioned on the commentary that his contract is up in the summer but he's someone I'd like to see stay. I think he'll only improve and with Doyle and O'Brien in their 30's, whilst they're great role model's for him, they'll need replacing sooner rather than later...

One bad performance the keyboard warriors at the club will be ripping into him, he's a good player but he's very young still. Notts needs to be pushing him as a replacement and get him bulking up a bit.

He would be an amazing player if he could deal with the physical side better.

He's very good when he manages to find the net, his confidence is lifted and he's like two players instead of one. I do feel he needs to apply himself as he has been, sometimes he gets lost but Michael Doyle helps him a lot.

He's came into the first team's contention at the right time for me, I'd replace Rose for Crawford right now.

I don’t think anyone other than a core of about 4 or 5 players can guarantee a regular place in any starting 11. Crawford has made massive strides and with another season under his belt should make a good player for us.

This is what you want to read and learn, young players finding form and coming good.

When people ask what 'American Pie' is about, they're missing the point. The song isn't about the lines themselves - it's about what is between the lines. The song is about what isn't there.
