Marvel or DC?

Featured Replies

Marvel is the best for me, I like DC but they focus on drama and not the imagination.

My favourite superhero is the Incredible Hulk.

DC's work with Batman is a different level of genius.

The recent Joker film revealed this much to me, it's such a brilliant origin story.

Oh oh oh ohhhhh, everywhere where we go, watching super County putting on a show!

I like them both, I do prefer Marvel but now Disney holds the rights it’s becoming a bit annoying. X-Men is my favourite, with Wolverine being my favourite superhero.

Villain wise, I would say Galactus.

I also enjoy an indie comic called, Hero by Night.

A field where dreams become reality.

What about you @ARLukomski? I'm going to have two guesses, Spiderman or Ironman?

Superman is my favourite superhero, first mainstream hero in my opinion.

I do like the classic Batman TV series starring Adam West and Burt Ward. Cesar Romero played the Joker to perfection too. I don't mind either DC or Marvel, I think they're both good.

Hmm, to be frank I think the superhero films have been done to death now. There's only so much you can do with them. I did enjoy the Spiderman films a few years back, which may or may not have had something to do with Kirsten Dunst being in them.

I did use to enjoy the Superman films with Christopher Reeve (the only real Superman in my book). He could do cool things like freeze you with an icy breath, or send villains into space. All the others are just men (and women) in stupid costumes.

Batman is my favourite DC character.

I like the Guardians Of The Galaxy universe.

Thanos is my favourite supervillan.

I liked Black Panther. Captain Marvel was so so IMO.

Was never really a fan of Marvel, or DC comics when I was younger to be honest, but out of all of them I would probably go with Spiderman.

None of them can hold a candle compared to Charley Bourne though!

British comics were always a better read.

Marvel is mine, it's just a better universe IMO. It's consistent and DC has so many different twists that it starts to feel dumb to buy into.

Ironman is my favourite hero and film series.

Both are good, DC is a darker from what I have read but I do enjoy them. Marvel is your typical children's comic. The imagination in both is very good.

I am torn between the two, I am a huge Marvel fan but I also like DC [Detective Comics].

Batman and Superman are both great in comic form and on the big screen, Marvel have so many different superheroes that it's hard not to like one or another.

When people ask what 'American Pie' is about, they're missing the point. The song isn't about the lines themselves - it's about what is between the lines. The song is about what isn't there.

DC for me. I prefer the journey some of the characters go on. Darker and more complex. I can see how this appeals to adults more though. Take the recent superb Joker film. Designed for adults. Not an action movie, just a plain old character analysis, which is what I love. Actors at the top of their game.
