The goal was superbly timed and executed. He managed to skillfully direct the ball into the net, out of the goalkeeperβs reach.

I watched the FA Cup highlights and noticed that Enzio is now plying his trade at Eastleigh. They beat League 1 Reading in the 2nd round and Enzio had a hand in both goals, looked like he had a good game.

Jim OβBrien has had a few near misses this season, so when he finally scored, I was thrilled. Heβs a player you can easily relate to.

Many people arenβt aware of the changes that have been made to the Brazilian league. These changes have made it more challenging for teams to maintain their elite status. They are one of only two teams that have never been relegated and have produced countless top Brazilian talents. However, their fansβ behaviour of throwing fireworks, rockets, and flares is quite unacceptable. Can you imagine if we did that every time our club was relegated?
It's also one of the most corrupt leagues in the world, which doesn't help matters.
I wouldn't want to be a player, manager or fan over them, it's just too hostile. It's not passion, it's instilled within their culture that if things don't go your way, outcome the pitchforks and violence.
It's a shame as Santos has a lot of history, but it's hardly the end of the world.
Itβs frustrating when teams dwell on their past glories, leading to their downfall due to poor performance. A draw might have spared them, but they need to confront and accept relegation. They should aim to bounce back stronger.

Oh, I could watch this goal again and again - what a lovely finish!
Picture witnessing that goal in real time. Iβm willing to bet that even the Coventry fans rose to their feet in admiration.
That was an excellent goal. It requires a significant level of skill to accomplish that. Itβs not something that can be done casually or attributed to luck, but rather itβs a result of hard work and talent.

I hadn't noticed they were playing but myΒ old mate Gordon, a fellow Ram from Alfreton textedΒ me when the score was 3- 0 saying the same as youΒ @Fan of Big ToneΒ ..Funny old world ain't it.
four defeats in a row, even luton towns form is currently better than that. i hope luton stay up! they did well against arsenal recently. fulham winning any team by 5-0 is a bit weird, as they do have a good team but are not the type to thrash another.
Fulham have some great young players coming through their ranks, and their squad on their day could beat most mid-table to lower relegation fodder quite comfortably. Forest really got dismantled by a team that their own squad transfer fee total blows out of the water. It shows you don't have to spend silly money, as the most important thing is good players and a spirited team.
Since we missed out on round 13 a while back while evil spirits were being banished from the website, here's another special FA Cup round to make up for it! Everything else is the same, the games kick off at 3pm on Saturday and you get a joker each!

On Saturday Notts take on Walsall at Meadow Lane, how many links between the two clubs can we find?
Brett Angel came to us on loan I remember him scoring a hattrick on his debut but his stay was short lived he only made 6 appearances, he had a brief spell at Preston N.E. Before moving to Walsall making 61 appearances and scoring 16 goals.
How many more links can we find?

My sister had one day at St Helier Hospital Carshalton, then 2 days at Epsom District Hospital
She had lost feeling in her right hand, basics like holding a pen,Β though it is now slowly coming back
The staff of both hospitals were fantastic but listening to the radio this morning, about the UK gov't proposing that overseas spouses married to UK citizens, may be deported if they fail the Β£38k income threshold, my sister may not have made it had those staff been not available within the NHS.Β

Itβs the defenders making mistakes that cost us, but a lot of it comes from the tactics and how we approach games. I donβt constantly blame the defenders for what happens and I can let it go. Aden Baldwin got a lot of criticism going into the Bromley game and when he made a mistake in the first half, people took to Twitter. Some of the same people praised him for his winning goal. ????????ββοΈ
We need to find ways to work with the existing players. Making bad choices doesnβt always mean theyβve lost focus. This is something I wish Luke Williams understood. Heβs right about most things, but he keeps insisting itβs a lack of concentration when itβs more about not reacting well to pressure.
i think those people who are saying kyle cameron and aden baldwin are not good enough, are mistaken. it keeps being mentioned on social media, nobody is perfect at this level but one solid signing at the back could make a significant difference.
One of my all time favourites, I loved listening to The Pogues in my misspent youth.

Some fair points there @Chris, there are some crazy overreactions on social media. However, I can understand some of the frustration. It's cost us a third round FA Cup tie and might yet cost us a shot at promotion.
Playing at the back for Notts is a tough gig and you're going to look bad at times simply due to how we play. As long as our system gets us results, we shouldn't throw out the baby with the bathwater, but we should remember that some of our players have been with us since the Ardley days and are an awkward fit for this system. Rawlinson was very sound in a back four and if he'd been picked for the play-off final against Harrogate we might even have returned to the league at the first attempt. Now he's being asked to play total football when he's not really suited to it. Brindley joined us as a right back and has had to adapt. Baldwin's head seems to have gone this season and he could do with a spell on the sidelines, but our squad depth hasn't permitted it.
It's clear that our defence as a unit isn't working and isn't likely to work. I don't think they're bad players individually, but in terms of decision making they've often been found wanting. If we can bring in a genuine leader at the back to instill confidence and settle the others down a bit, we might yet see the best out of Baldwin and co.
Iβm uncertain which goal is the worst, whether itβs the 2nd or 3rd. Then again, the 1st is appalling due to the lack of spirit shown after falling.
Those will haunt us for some time, three nightmarish goals gifted to Shrewsbury in a game we should have won.
An interesting game to watch last night.
When we have discussions on Notts defenders, the real difference is that Barcelona have defenders that are more comfortable on the ball and can see simple and execute forward passes much quicker than Notts defenders.Β

Well, you wouldnβt want the goalkeeper to be yours as thatβs just making fun and results in a silly outcome that could have been avoided. Yet, you would want the foul to be given. Itβs a peculiar football clip.
You canβt push a goalkeeper, thatβs a foul any day of the week, no matter how lightly the goalkeeper went down. To me, it looks like a foul. You canβt even pull on a goalkeeperβs shirt during a corner kick, etc. Quite rightly so, this shouldnβt be allowed.
Terrible, Iβm pleased the referee awarded the goal because even if a Notts keeper had tried that, I would feel the goal was justified.

I haven't had any issues with my eyes, so I'm thankful for that. I'm a bit squeamish when it comes to things close to my eyes, but I get them checked every two to three years. It's great to see so many positive stories about members who have had successful operations. It seems that eye specialists have made great progress since the millennium.

Yes, if I recall, they finished 2nd one year in the early 90s. I think they had Paul Dickov on loan too.
I used to have a soft spot for Oldham, back when I collected sticker books and read everything those pages had to hold.
Yes, I recall this outcome. Oldham had their moments of brilliance. The late 80s and 90s were somewhat of a high point for the club. Itβs been a downhill journey since then, but their supporters have memories like this thrashing of one of the poorest West Ham teams in years.
oldham were a good team once? ???? i dont believe it.
What does everyone want, more football of course! It's been a full on week for Notts this week and it's time to finish it off in the FA Cup against L1 opposition, Shrewsbury Town.
They currently sit in 12th place. It sounds pretty decent but when you dig a bit deeper you wonder how they've managed it. They've only scored 12 goals (in 20 games!) and they haven't won an away game since August! I'm guessing their injury crisis has impacted their season as theyβve currently got 11 first team players out injured. Whilst itβs obviously awful for them, itβs pretty good for us.
Here are some comments from SalopCast about their game on Tuesday against Exeterβ¦
A lot of effort but a lack of quality. Salop canβt keep the ball and end up sitting deep. Passing accuracy in the 50βs againβ¦
Trying to figure out our game plan is puzzling me. We seem to be bypassing our midfield and trying to win free kicks and corners. Our wing backs and midfielders are never on the ball. Our strikers never win the ball or keep it for more than 5 seconds.
Salop actually have possession, ball to Udoh who is near the box and Udoh just shoots at a defender in front of him. No thought about passing. No runners. Nothing. We are so bad. So so f****** s***. What the actual f*** is Taylor doing with this team in the week?
Salop come home with a point. A real slugfest against a poor Exeter side. Positives: clean sheet and a point on the road Negatives: many.
Are they confident?
Notts County are going to destroy us on Friday.
Not much time off for either team but I think weβll be in better health. I guess Stone will be back in goal, and Iβd expect one of Rawlo or Brinds back in just for the sake of being fresh. Maybe even Gosling will start and I hope Morias starts as well. Anyway, chance to get a dream 3rd round draw if we win so Iβm looking forward to it!

As disappointing and bizzare as that was, we were never going to win the cup. But have lost out on potential revenue.
If we succeed in finishing in the top three or advance through the playoffs, all of this will be overlooked. It might also turn out to be a hidden advantage. I canβt remark on the performance as Iβve only seen the highlights, which keep me up at night, but I can say weβve faced much tougher situations and emerged stronger. Letβs stand by the players, because they were rewarded last week and with our backing, they might just do it again this time.
positive signs are needed in the next game, but we do need to put these mistakes behind us. It annoyed me watching live, frustrated me more seeing the highlights but i do now feel for the players. the footage will have caused further embarrassment and we know what they are capable of. we know if they focus and work hard, these wont be grouped in games but the one off.
lets try to reflect on how they have fought for us and try to get behind them again.
I never did rate Schofield in our relegation season.

Over the years, weβve had subpar players in every position, not just goalkeepers.
I shudder to imagine what the worst goalkeeper mistake has been. Iβm doing my utmost to forget about these types of nightmares. Once youβve seen them, theyβre hard to forget! The best advice is to try not to remember them.
If we won anyway, I suppose it wasn't the end of the world. Schofield wasn't the best choice that season - we ended up finishing that season with a very young keeper and centre halves who (understandably) couldn't cope with the pressure we were under. But that's probably because we weren't exactly the most appealing club to join at that time.
Hello, I decided to join and introduce myself. I have been following Notts for approximately four years. Although I wasn't born into supporting the club, I chose Notts after relocating following my studies. The friendliness of the club is what I appreciate, and I have been regularly attending most home games since Notts joined the National League.

Hahaha!! It is funny.
Personally, every culture has stolen something. Whilst we may be one of the worst for taking artefacts, a lot of them would have been found and kept being preserved. There's a chance that some of the things might have been lost forever, damaged or just unappreciated. I'm sick of this attitude these days that the past must be rewritten.

Crawley Town played well, but I think they put too much into the first half. Some of their players didnβt behave well on the pitch, which was disappointing. They didnβt deserve anything from the game. As for the repeated mentions of their 4-hour coach journey, if they were trying to justify their tiredness, well, thatβs just part of football, Scott Lindsey.
at least he agrees we are a good team, our first season back in the football league and we are earning further respect from opposition managers. Β
I can't fault him much, despite the tinted glasses. I appreciate his words about us being a good team; it shows that some clubs don't see us as being a former National League club but one perfectly capable of doing well in League Two.
I extend my best wishes to Enzio. He may not have been an outstanding player, but his earnest efforts made him endearing.
Enzio wasnβt the worst player we had, he just hit a slump and never recovered. In League Two, he was often our best player. I know we had a team that didnβt fight as hard as they could have, but he did. I wish him all the best.
Best of luck to Enzio. He often frustrated me during his time here, and it seemed like he was slowing down, but Iβm grateful for his contributions. For instance, his performance in the League Two match against Macclesfield showed his fighting spirit.
