Dan Crowley’s Call: Stay Grounded as Notts County Aim for Promotion
Some fans might come crashing down to earth now that we have experienced our first defeat, but all we can do is keep going. It would be disappointing if tickets started to be sold for the Chesterfield game just because we lost one game. Go there, enjoy it, and back the lads who played so bravely yesterday. -

Stuart Maynard Reflects on Frustrating Defeat Against Gillingham: "We Deserved More"
No criticism of Stuart Maynard or the team. Maynard made his points clear and he speaks for us fans. The decisions against Notts were ridiculous, but you have to accept it and move on. I am not bothered that Maynard was issued a yellow card; it shows his frustration and passion. -

Jodi Jones Injury
It is a worry with several players injured already. The squad is definitely stronger and therefore can counter the impact of injured players better. But still, after watching yesterday's game, it still seems that the key players to hold the ball and drive forward are few, such as Jones, Crowly and Tsaroulla and with one of them potentially out for a bit, do we need more players to take up this mental and attitude of driving forwards? -

Poll: Who is your Notts Man of the match v Gillingham?
The poll has now closed. Thank you to all PON members who participated in the poll. I can announce that the Notts Man of the Match against Gillingham, with an overwhelming majority, is JACOB BEDEAU for his solid defensive performance. Pride of Nottingham - Notts County Community WWW.FACEBOOK.COM Jacob Bedeau has been voted as the Pride of Nottingham's Man of the Match for his solid defensive performance in Notts' narrow 1-0 defeat to Gillingham. Well deserved despite the result!...- 2

Harry Caine's Em
There's only a minimal amount of hate expressed, the rest is criticism and a bit of being a meme. I like him, but he's not always the right option to lead the national team now. If he does, then we need to adapt the formation and make sure he's supported. I don't think he should be dropping deep any more and his energy levels should be reserved. I don't get why some people verbally abused him during the World Cup, it wasn't a lack of effort but a mixture of poor form, bad tactics and tiredness. Simply, he shouldn't have been guaranteed to start. Without him, I don't think we'd make the final. At least not having some form of playing time in all the games, he just needed to play every group game. There should be a level of respect for what he's achieved, as in his younger days he at times carried England. Much like how Wayne Rooney and David Beckham did.- 1
